Rates

$200 for the first session.

$100 per hour for future 50 minute sessions.

Insurance

I am paneled with several insurance companies, but I’ve made the decision to not accept insurance.  I am toally private pay.

Private Pay

Benefits of Private Pay:

1.  All interactions are between you and me.

2.  You choose the counselor you wnat and do not have to change providers if your insurance changes.

3.  The length of your sessions is not restricted – if we need to have a session longer than the typical 50 minutes, you and I are able to make the decision to do so.

4.  The frequency of your sessions is determined by you and I collaborating regarding your needs, not an outsie netity telling us what is allowed.

5.  You are able to receive services that are entirely confidential, and I do not have to share documents with insurance companies.

6.  You do not have to be given a mental health diagnosis.  You are able to seek support before things deteriorate to the poiont of meeting criteria for a diagnosis.

7.  You do not have to worry about having a diagnosis as part of your permanent medical record.

Payment

I accept cash, check, money order and Zelle as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.

Note:  My profession is how I am able to make a living and still follow my passion to care for others.  My rates reflect that standard for the industry, however, I believe in providing accessible mental health care for people who may be unable to afford it for a time.  For this reason, I allow myself a certain number of slots for clients who need reduced raates.  I am open to having a conversation about your finances and circumstances, and together we can come up with what is affordable during a consultation or our first session.
